Enema Recipes

Enema recipes are countless depending on the location and availability of the required resources to make the different enema solutions. The most common enema recipes consist of the following ingredients as the many components; coffee, tea, barium, sodium phosphates, wheat grass, vinegar and water, castor oil, alcohol and many others. The common character of these recipes is that the basic medium or the solvent is basically the purified water. Any other addictive as herbs or mixing of two different ingredients in the enemas solution should be careful done analyzing the possible positive and negative effects.

The ingredients should be well measured to suit the intended water volume and concentration. In the case of enema recipes that need to be boiled so that they can totally marry or dissolve it is recommended that the solution is let to cool completely. The chemical solutions should be tested for the compatibility with the patient’s body to avoid allergic reactions which would contradict the procedures meaning. In general most of the enema recipes should not be used by expectant mothers, toddlers, and adults with anal inflammations, kidney failure, cardiac problems, intestinal infections and those already using other medications. Despite that some of the ingredients do not have any recorded cases of reaction in the above groups it is not advisable to try them. Also for those purchased from the shops, always follow the instructions from the doctor and on the label stuck on the container.

The common precautions to be taken for most of the enema recipes are; never use hot enema solutions so as not to burn the rectal canal, use the right equipment to pump the solution into the colon, never reuse the solution in a separate enema session, sterilize the speculum again before insert it into the rectum and never be in hurry to cleanse the colon ending up overdosing yourself. These precautions are expected to be observed in all enemas but individual enema has a laid down procedure that should be followed to the book. If you have any doubt about an enema do research from many available resources or ask the doctor all the questions nagging you before you can undertake it. In case of over doses the patient may experience the following symptoms; nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, increased heart rate, drowsiness, dehydration and some recipes as those of tea and coffee lack of sleep and accelerated mental alertness.

These different recipes have several similar side effects as for coffee there is loss of sleep for a certain period, over zealousness and could become habitual. Other recipes especially those with chemical components can be hydration, headaches, dizziness, dry mouth, paleness of the skin and other symptoms which would need to keenly observed. If the sign continue for sometime you should seek medical attention to deter any deterioration to worse cases that would be life threatening.

In summary there are two types of enema recipes; organic and chemical. In organic there is a subclass that is formed by mixing one or more organic ingredients to form a conception or cocktail which is believe to add the effectiveness of the other in one way or another.
